What exactly does Florida offer over 85 million visitors each year? Is it the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico or is it the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean that beckon so many to the white sand shores of Florida? It’s not just about orange groves and retirement villas any longer. Florida is the ultimate year-round playground offering the best of what vacations are meant to be.
Whether you’re traveling as a couple to a romantic beach resort, for that much needed holiday, or as a family with the kids in tow for a fun-filled theme and water park adventure; Florida offers an average of 300 days of sunshine each year and over 650 miles of beaches!
For the couple looking to break away from daily life, Florida offers over 1,000 of the best golf courses, well-manicured with cool swaying palms and stunning views. After golf perhaps a ride in a hot air balloon followed by a massage at one of many resort spas and to cap off the day, a fabulous dinner. Looking for something with a little zip; how about an airboat ride across the infamous Florida everglades where you just might see an alligator sliding into the water from the edge of the swamp?
If you’re traveling as a family looking to pack in as much fun in the sun as you can, Florida is definitely the place to be. Florida is home to the world famous Walt Disney Resort and Epcot Center. Choose one of the fabulous Disney resorts to stay and when you’re not screaming with glee on Space Mountain, you can spend your afternoon poolside.
And don’t forget to save a couple of days for the LEGOLAND theme park and SeaWorld Orlando. You won’t have to work hard to keep the kids happily entertained while on holiday in Florida – that is for certain! For that matter, mom and dad won’t have to work hard to have a good time either. There is no work in a Florida holiday!
We have LEGOLAND in CA and the best part we have no problems with the weather. I live 3 miles from the beach, LEGOLAND, Z00! One hr from TJ and the 3rd world. Please don’t come because its too many people now but we love it.
Okay, Ted, we won’t come! 😉
