Two-hundred-fifty. That’s the number of published posts – as of today – I have written. Yep. In less than two years live, I’ve written 250 posts. That’s a lot of thoughts. No wonder my brain hurts so often.
Remember encyclopedias? Today, I Googled (it’s a verb, right?) the number 250 just for fun. I didn’t find anything particularly fun so I decided to make my own fun by writing exactly 250 words in this post. Wish me luck. 250. No more. No less.
I asked myself, if I could have 250 of something, what would it be? It’s not as easy as it sounds. 250 freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies? Nah. After the first two I’d be sick. 250 friends? Nope. I’m a close circle of friends kind of gal. 250 Jujyfruits? Definitely! 250 dollars? Absolutely! But then I’d have to figure out what to do with it; you know like buy 250 of something! Vicious cycle.

Except the black ones.
Maybe I should do 250 of something. Read 250 books? When? Sit-ups? Not a chance. Push-ups? Less chance. Walk 250 miles? Even better, Abi and I are planning to walk the 500-mile Camino.
I should probably just keep writing. I’ve written 250 posts, why stop now? I’m not stopping, I’m just getting warmed up.
I know! I’ll say thank you 250 times to each and every one of you who continue to read and support One Road at a Time. We have BIG plans on the horizon and there will be many stories to share, but until then, this has been exactly 250 words.
Nice, congratulations!

Wouldn’t that be a great thing – 250 new subscribers!
Congratulations! Finding 250 inspiring ideas is inspiring in and of itself – I’m only a year in and have less than half of that.
Thanks Jane! And keep writing!
Congrats on 250! We recently watched “The Way” with Martin Sheen, and would like to do the Camino some day too.

Thanks, Amy! The Camino is definitely part of the big plans, but there is much more to come. We are just still in the planning stages so a bit too early to reveal. Don’t you love a little intrigue?!
Congrats! I have been enjoying reading your posts. Keep it up. Can’t wait to read about walking the Camino…someday we too hopefully shall be doing that!
