There’s something for everyone to enjoy on a Cape Beach vacation, whether you wish to walk for miles along Grotto Beach and spot the whales, or enjoy some family time with the penguins at Boulders Beach in Simon’s Town. Regardless of what you’re looking for when it comes to a beach experience, you’ll easily find a beach that meets your desires.

Inland Safari
If the beach isn’t what you’re looking for, chart a course inland. Perhaps you’re ready to take on a trekking safari in Uganda. Wildlife safaris are a must while in Africa. Where else can you get a close-up view of wild game such as tigers, giraffes, elephants and/or maybe gorillas. There are a multitude of transportation options as well, such as riding horseback or traveling by jeep.
It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience to get up close and personal with the wildlife that roams the continent of Africa.

Scenic Excursions
A trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park, or taking in the views of the Murchison Falls are at the top of the list for scenic excursions. Boat trips along the Cape Whale Route make for another exciting day out and can include stops to explore beautiful towns such as Betty’s Bay and Pringle Bay. Thrill-seekers can take in the coastal scenery by kayak or while para-sailing or even test their bravery with some shark-cage diving.
Victoria Falls
If your wish list includes a trek to viewing magnificent waterfalls, Victoria Falls is an absolutely must see. The falls are one of the greatest treasures on the continent of Africa, and truly a stunning site to behold. And, the falls are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

That alone should inspire you to make the visit. It is said that the sound of the rushing water – known locally as thundering smoke – can be heard from a distance of 40 kms away.
